TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking a QA Analyst to join our rapidly growing technology team in Dallas, Texas.

Job Summary: QA Analyst will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of quality assurance for various strategic initiatives including but not limited to the ability to participate in test case and suite design, execution, and the development of testing artifacts, including functional test requirements, defect tracking and reporting, functional test plans, cases, scripts, reports, etc. for assigned projects

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Oversee and actively perform system and regression testing to determine how the changes made will affect other installed software including interfaces, views, and reports
* Participate in planning, estimating and prioritizing processes to ensure successful execution of performance testing activities
* Database concepts and queries/scripting. Make recommendations on application design and performance improvements
* Lead planning sessions and Scrum meetings
* Prepare life-cycle for different projects inclusive of research, development, design, evaluation, and testing along with delivery

Education: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

Required Skills & Experience:

* 5 to 10 years of Testing/QA experience, which includes development of test plans, test cases/script, coordinating testing activities
* Ability to understand product functionality from end user perspective and critically evaluate application for functionality and usability
* Familiarity with web services and their components
* Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate with all levels of management and team members
* Works productively in a team and independently
* Promotes a knowledge-sharing environment
* Works well under pressure and multi-tasks in an interrupt-driven environment
* Under moderate supervision, manages and/or coordinates all tasks as assigned
* Follow Agile methodologies, Scrum delivery model
* Strong personal ownership and ability to set and meet high professional standards, flexible and responsive work, technical leadership to development team
* Analytical and organizational skills
* Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
* Ability to compare multiple tools and recommend tools for automating functional tests, integration tests, performance test

* Experience with Jira is plus
