THE ROLE:

Neo Media World is growing our Technology Department and looking for a QA Analyst familiar with manual testing and an educational background in Technology or a Numerate Subject to join the team! As a valued member of the Technology department, you will be primarily responsible for the successful testing and delivery of validated Business Intelligence/Analytics solutions which span across Neo Media World's client portfolio. The ideal candidate will receive invaluable analytical training while taking on responsibilities for data analysis and management. If you have a strong understanding of data usage and/or applicability of technologies to manipulate and analyse it, this role is the one for you!

YOUR IMPACT:

* Develop Test Plans and Test Cases based on requirements and user expectations
* Test current applications and identify deficiencies; prepare and present reports and metrics to broader Neo Technology team
* Develop data validations scripts
* Collaborate with different project stakeholders (Neo Technology Team, Neo Analytics, Neo Accounts Team)
* Review product requirements and specifications, and provide input for functional requirements

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

* Relevant internships, professional experience and/or education to degree level ideally in Computing or Numerate Subject (ie. Information Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science or related); ability to work independently or with little oversight
* Experience with variety of different testing techniques e.g. Manual Testing, Performance testing, etc.
* Understanding of key software development processes, database architecture and data management
* Strong understanding of data; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel; comfort with using new technology platforms; and attention to detail
* Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus
* Excellent communication skills; written and verbal, with the ability to explain in a user-friendly manner
* Experience working in a fast-paced digital marketing environment
* Ability and interest in learning new technologies/tools as the business evolves
