Full Stack Engineers

As a full stack engineer, you will happily be a technology polyglot, excited to learn new technologies and techniques across the full technical stack and product life cycle.

You will primarily be focused on hands on engineering of consumer and business related applications and as such will have an expert understanding of software engineering best practices such as effective source control, code reviews, daily builds, and automated deployments. You are equally at home with cloud, Internet related technologies, protocols and languages along with lean / agile development techniques and Devops culture all working as part of a team.

Above all, you can write highly efficient, stable, secure, maintainable and performant code. And understand the difference between engineering and over-engineering.

Platform Engineers

As a Platform Engineer you will be hands on, thinking end-to-end and engineering platforms to operate software applications on a public or private cloud.

We're looking for engineers with primary skills in building application platforms and operating them. You understand software development and have worked alongside or as part of delivery teams, supporting the delivery and operation of systems.

You know (as we do) that cloud infrastructure is a software problem and that DevOps is organisational culture, not a job title and as such will work as part of a delivery team focusing on delivering business value.

You'll have an expert understanding of software engineering, software builds and deployment, debugging applications, operating systems, databases, networking, cloud and fixed infrastructures and automation tools.

You'll also use configuration management, automation and containerisation tools to improve software build reliability, portability and repeatability - maintaining the build pipeline and aiming for continuous deployment.
