Our Rewards platform currently manages the Virgin Points for millions of customers and integrates with many B2B partner systems. We are just at the beginning of our journey and have plans to reach many more customers and partners, so growth, creativity and operating at scale are high on our agenda. We are seeking passionate Software Engineers across a range of levels to help us in this mission.
Virgin Red’s Platform
We are Cloud-native and take a DevOps approach. We primarily use Java and Spring Boot for our server-side systems, Terraform to manage our infrastructure and our front-end systems are React based, spanning web and mobile channels. All of this is built leveraging AWS - utilising services such as Lambda, API Gateway and Kinesis. Virgin Red’s B2B partners and web and mobile channels consume our core platform to deliver loyalty rewards and the Virgin points currency for millions of customers.

How we work
Our teams utilise best-in-class technologies and techniques to ship impactful features with quality and speed. And we are always looking for ways to improve. Engineers are empowered to take ownership – from technical design and analysis of problems through to running systems in production. We work cross-functionally, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers and business stakeholders to shape the vision and build solutions.
We strive for engineering excellence through proactive identification and adoption of relevant industry trends. We also innovate through engineering-led initiatives to solve specific technical problems we encounter in our environment that will give us a competitive edge.
