A Ruby-On-Rails developer will utilize the Ruby framework to produce new or adapt existing software to work a specified way. They are often responsible for designing and writing code to create new applications as well as testing and debugging code. They could be asked to work alone or with fellow developers and IT staff. Ruby-On-Rails developers should have software development experience especially in the Ruby and Java languages and also have a good grasp of DHTML and DOM scripting. Ruby-On-Rails developers should be able to exhibit problem-solving skills, creativity, good time management and good verbal and written communication.
