Grant Thornton is seeking a Data and Integration Manager to join its Enterprise Technology Strategy service line in Denver, CO, and take an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business development activities. The successful candidate will have experience leading data conversion, system integrations, and system migration work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

* This is a hybrid resource that needs to understand and have experience leading data conversion, system integrations, and system migration work and have some PM background.
* There are 50 system integrations that require facilitation and tracking.
* Responsible for driving client and vendor activity, as the role will work with personnel from both organizations to complete these aspects of the engagement. This will entail coordinating between client facing vendor resources and remote personnel on the vendor's development team in Ohio.
* Design strategies to ensure timely and effective completion of the work, ensure appropriate levels of coordination between the parties, and to spot any potential issues or problems in advance so that they can be addressed in a manner that minimizes impact to the project.
* Escalates any issues that he/she cannot resolve in a timely fashion to the PMO for resolution.
* Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management.
* Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work.
* Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
* Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
* Act as performance manager (coach) for up to four coachees outside of engagement responsibilities.
* Interview campus and/or experienced candidates.
* Experience developing and implementing data conversion strategies, including hands on experience with data mapping, data cleansing, and data conversion.
* Ability to troubleshoot challenges that arise in all of these stages.
* Experience with developing guidelines and instructions for data conversion and working with client and vendor personnel to diagnose and resolve issues.
* Experience managing development work on COTS implementations - ability to read, understand, and evaluate specifications
* Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
* Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
* U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
* Travel may be required.
* Coach and mentor junior staff members.
* Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
* Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
* Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
* Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
* Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
