Job Description

The Information Governance Supervisor oversees the workflow and issue resolution of the local office Information Governance department. This position ensures effective departmental operations by training, implementing and enforcing IG policies andprocedures.

As an Information Governance Supervisor, you will:

* Supervise and manage the workflow and performance of the Information Governance team members, including participation in the annual staff performance evaluation process
* Train Firm personnel on IG policies, procedures and technology
* Administer the matter mobility processes including but not limited to collecting client materials, coordinating the attorney review process, updating the RMS and tracking all transfer materials
* Supervise departmental projects, including coordinating resources developing project reports and communicating status updates
* Oversee the processing and auditing of file encryptions for the creation and duplication of external media electronic media processing
* Collaborate with the Information Systems department to migrate data and correct discrepancies
* Troubleshoot records management issues and recommend process improvements to the RMS

Job Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree
* At least three (3) years of related work experience
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
* Knowledge of records management system software
* Familiarity with federal, state, and local records storage and retention laws and regulations
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
* Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
