Job Summary Job Description The Opportunity "Come join our product development team to provide thought leadership and innovation. This role provides the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our business, work closely with customers, sales, professional services, and product management to architect, design and develop a highly feature rich product." - VP, Software Engineering. What You'll Contribute Build, deploy, and support modules of large, world-class enterprise-level solutions. Use diagrams and tools to write programs, investigate and fix bugs, and install solutions. Perform front end development of selected components or modules for our products. Contribute to all aspects of the product development process, from specification and design, integration, release, and maintenance. Collaborate with other software engineers, including peer review of their deliverable. Create high quality source code with test coverage and appropriate documentation in adherence to software development best practices. Use of common development tools such as compilers, debuggers, profilers, and source control. Knowledge / experience with the Java programming language. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and Git SCM. Continually learn new technologies in related areas. What We're Seeking Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related disciplines, or relevant software development experience. Proficient in development and deployment of software solutions product within software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process. Strong knowledge of database concepts and programming. Experience in maintaining and upgrading of product source codes. Experience with one or more of the following web development technologies: NodeJS, AngularJS or Angular 5/6+, Webpack, NPM/Yarn, Typescript, ES 5/6+, and Karma Experience with Linux operating systems. Knowledge / experience with Cloud Service Providers, ideally AWS. Knowledge of Microservices / Service Oriented Architectures. Understanding of relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc. Experience writing product specifications and documenting product features and presenting them to an audience. Ability to work well as part of a geographically diverse team.
