The role of a Project Manager is required in many different industries including technology, marketing, business and construction industries. In addition to managing a team and keeping the project on track, Project Managers report regularly to upper management on the progress of the project.
There are a number of skills that employees look for when hiring a project manager. These include strong leadership skills and the ability to delegate tasks to junior employees based on their experience and skill set. Project Managers may also meet with clients and need to have good communication skills. They also need to be organized, able to develop comprehensive project plans and know how to work within a budget.
